Software Requests
To request software for your computer or iPad, please email the聽Software Request Office聽with the following information:
- Computer Asset Tag Number (ex. 35123, can be found on the UNTHSC barcode)
- Name of the user and department
- Name and version Software requested
- Billing ID number
- Contact number
Site Licensed Software
UNT Health Science Center has licenses to install the following software on university-owned computers鈥�
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Microsoft Lync
- Microsoft Visio
- 聽(Login Required)
- SPSS
- SAS
Student Software
Students can purchase copies of specific programs at a reduced rate by visiting聽.

Apple Software
iPad Apps (Purchased with state/local funds)
UNTHSC participates in the Apple Volume Purchase Program which allows our institution to purchase iOS apps and books in volume, tax-exempt, and distribute them to faculty, staff, and students.
To purchase iOS apps tax exempt using state or local funds, do the following:
Email helpdesk@unthsc.edu with
- The name of the app(s) needed
- Inventory number of the iPad(s)
- DeptID to charge
You will receive confirmation that the apps have been purchased on your behalf.
